ELECTRIX

Electrix are Brian Poole’s band and also an act in their own right. Apart from backing Brian, they also have two other very popular sets.

As Electrix they play 60’s / 70’s music and as The Detectives they play covers and a great array of Rhythm & Blues classics. The band consists of:

Mark Francis Bird on guitar and vocals.

Tony Allen on drums,

Cliff Sims keyboard, guitar, vocals

Ray Begg on bass and vocals.

They have their own sound and light system all run by Ray from the stage.

Electrix have accompanied Brian Poole on many tours and one nighters including Solid Silver Sixties show and many trips to Europe and Scandinavia. They also back the appearances by Brian & Chip Hawkes playing all of the hits of Brian Poole & The Tremeloes. The show with Brian Poole is very popular because the band can do a spot of their own and they back Brian with all the 60’s hits and more.
